OUR PROGRAM
Our core curriculum uses the camera and microphone (primary industry tools) as a platform for practical, hands-on learning. In conjunction with traditional performance skill builders, voice training, movement, improvisation, and scene study, our innovative approach to the art and business of acting for the camera will prepare you, the aspiring film/television actor, for success in the industry. Our emphasis is not “stage-craft” but “camera craft”.
To be “believed” is the bench mark as developed by an Emmy Award winning “working” actor, GregAlan Williams with the goal of putting actors to work. Working, winning roles, is the goal!
Over the past several years, a number of Mr. Williams students have won roles in major television shows and movies– many of them working side by side with Mr. Williams himself. Our program is built on 30 years of successful experience. We prepare you to compete in the industry and we show you how to build an ongoing career. At Actor’s Breakthrough, the work you do in the classroom is the same work you will be asked to do as a professional actor.
Not only do we help you build strong actor skills we also empower you to measure your own progress and ability throughout your training and your career. An essential skill for the professional actor is your ability to see what works in your performances, what does not, and how to make it better.
