EARLY PROFESSIONAL I
Pre-requisite – Fundamentals I & II or by Audition/Placement
Length – 10 weeks
Class – 3 hours – 1 class per week
Course Description –Early Professional I focuses students on the collective nature of the actor’s work. Actors grow and practice extensively in both Scene and Audition configuration. Ensemble work in this course (scripted and improvised) demonstrates the critical importance of listening, staying in character, and, working moment-to-moment. Basic stunt instruction enhances actor fitness, agility, and, presence. Classroom instruction, practice, and, critique, in Under-Five auditions build technical proficiency, script analysis skills, and, confidence in front of the camera.
